Sathi receives special honour for hosting

Regular host of Channel i Dilruba Sathi received a special honour in the field of TV show hosting. She received the honour from the Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor MP at a programme held on Wednesday evening.

Under the joint initiative taken by the Nepal High Commission in Bangladesh and Col Sudarshan Bikram Rana a cultural function titled ‘Cultural Performance of Nepalese Songs and Dances’ was held at the National Theatre Hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy on Wednesday.

Dilruba Sathi hosted the programme. Earlier Dilruba Sathi received many prizes for her dance performances, for the second time she received the special honour in the field of programme hosting.

While talking about her achievement Sathi told, “It is really an inspirational matter for me to get the honour. I want to step forward in this field. Everybody pray for me.”

It may be mentioned that Dilruba Sathi is regularly hosting Gaan-e Gaan-e Shokal Shuru and Citycell Tarokakothon on Channel i.
